A New Mixture Of My Favourite Things At The Moment

A New Mixture Of Favourite Things At The Moment Banner
As I’ve been going back through my old posts and tweaking them to bringing them up to my standard of writing now I realised that I haven’t done a favourites post since February, which you can find here. I would have loved to have made it a reoccurring theme but I’m not one to change anything up. My anxiety means I hate change and any change needed must be a slow transition. As you can imagine a bit of a nightmare!

But finally, I have some more favourites and my oh my I do love them. It’s a real mixture again this time around; food, drink, music etc and I’ll try to remember where I got things from and how much for but I can’t be sure!

Weightloss Wednesday || Get To Know My Weight Loss In 15 Questions

Weightloss Wednesday || Get To Know My Weight Loss In 15 Questions Banner
Today’s Weightloss Wednesday is a little different. As I am at 10 posts for my Weightloss Wednesday Series, I thought I’d do an update in the form of a weightloss tag I have seen floating around. If I’m honest I’m surprised I’ve even made it to 10! I have been dieting for nearly 12 years (albeit on and off) with some series losses and some series gain, but this is the first time I’ve had a real goal that is motivating.

The Best Quotes From Strong Empowering Women

The Best Quotes From Strong Empowering Women Banner
There have been countless amounts of empowering and incredible women throughout history, with many making important role models for so many other people. From authors to politicians, singers to designers women have been an important part in the making of our current world, yet being a woman is still a struggle in today's society. I've decided to create a list of my favourite quotes from just a handful of these amazing women. In life, you need a strong role model to help guide and inspire you and luckily the world is full to the brim of amazing women to choose from.
I actually want to dedicate this list to the new Facebook Group I'm a moderator for that celebrates and empowers women!
Celebrate Your Uniqueness is a brilliant group of brilliant women which I am more than thrilled to be a part of!

Weightloss Wednesday || Losing Weight & Being Healthy Is Not Cheap

Weightloss Wednesday Banner

Today I want to talk about how hard it is to be healthy and lose weight on a budget. I am not able to work at the moment, due to many issues; my physical health, my mental health, where I live etc. Trust me I have tried but I haven’t found a job suitable for all my needs yet (but I will!) Due to this I do live on a budget, a very low budget. If anyone else in my situation knows, what you get is very very little. I’m talking maybe having £15 a week, sometimes less, on food for a week. In that, it also has to include essentials etc. So, it’s a mission! I wouldn't be able to afford any food really if it wasnt for James.

Advice For People Travelling Long Journeys With Disabilities

Advice For People Travelling Long Journeys With Disabilities Banner
So, I’ve just come back from a wonderful week in Cornwall with my Mum, Step Dad and little brother. It was brilliant. Despite the fact, the weather was a little problematic (we did get a little sun) it didn’t stop us doing everything we wanted to do. Picnic in the car at the beach, cream teas, walks, cosy nights in. I flew down because I went down a week after they first went down but in the back of my mind I knew what was coming at the end. About a 6-hour journey home in a car with potential traffic! It was a nightmare but I handled it well.

So, with that, I thought I’d do a post on travelling on long journeys with disabilities.  I have made a list of the tips I found helpful on m journey. It wasn’t without fault, I still ended up with cramp in both legs, back spasms and a constant headache over the next 24 hours but it could have been worse.

Author  — Grace F Victory

Genre — Biography

Published — 2017

Amazon Synopsis From struggling with an eating disorder and body image issues to flashing Harry Potter (yes, that really did happen), Grace Victory has experienced it all. Here, in No Filter, Grace shares her inspirational story of growing up in a troubled household, battling with depression and finally overcoming it all by learning to love herself just as she is. After years of self-loathing and self-destructive behaviour, she hit an all-time low but thanks to therapy, good friends and an award-winning blog, she has rebuilt herself to become a TV presenter and an inspirational role model for young people. Thanks to her bravery, instinctive honesty and ability to break down taboos, Grace is now able to speak openly about her personal battles and she regularly offers guidance to her legion of fans.
Brimming with hilarious anecdotes and no-nonsense advice, the Internet's Big Sister tells you everything you need to know about accepting yourself and fighting back, in style.
I give this book 4.5 out of 5.0 stars.

I must add this before you read on, this book for me comes with a trigger warning. It contains some sensitive issues. This may also contain some spoilers.

Weightloss Wednesday || The Benefits Of A Solid Breakfast

Weightloss Wednesday Banner

Breakfast is the only meal that I regularly skip, by that I mean it’s about 5 out of 7 days that I don’t eat it. There are multiple reasons, I might be going out and I’ve woken up late, I don’t like my breakfast etc but more than likely it’s because I sleep through it.

The Best Relatable Disney Quotes In One List

The Best Relatable Disney Quotes In One List Banner
Today I want to focus on quotes from Disney Films.

Everyone loves Disney films, I actually have never met someone who doesn’t have at least one favourite Disney film. I did a post on my favourite Disney films! Despite being children's films they have sometimes deep and meaningful morals behind the films. From there, we get some absolutely cracking quotes for pretty much everything. From fish, with memory loss to emotions in a child's brain, there is something being talked about in every film that someone can relate to. So with that, I thought, why not put all my favourite and most important quotes into my new Quote list series.

Charity Spotlight - The Childrens Trust, Tadworth

Charity Spotlight Banner/ Childrens Trust /

The Childrens Trust, Tadworth -

This charity is one that is very close to my heart and to where I live. I attended a primary school about 2 minutes from where they are based and live in the same village too. My boyfriend, while not as serious as these children’s and not half as bad, does have brain damage caused by his illness, so I feel a sense of closeness to the subject of brain injuries and illnesses.
