I Was Nominated For The Liebster Award!

My Liebster Award Banner

I am so happy to have been nominated for the Liebster Award by this brilliant blogger. The Liebster Award is aimed at recognising newer blogs for their impact on the blogging community and their hard work and effort. It also allows you to make connections and become a bigger part of the blogger community itself.

I would like to say huge thank you to This Big Wild World for nominating me. I thoroughly recommend this blog to anyone with a love of travel, the world or people who love photography, in fact, anyone in general really. Her blog is full of beautiful pictures and I must say I am very very jealous of the adventures and experiences she gets from solo travelling! This is a great opportunity and means a lot to me!

Weightloss Wednesday || Using The Summer To Make Positive Changes

Weightloss Wednesday Series Banner

So with the warm weather, the UK has been having lately and the negative weightless posts I've been putting out, I decided today would be different.
Today's post is all about positive steps and the positive aspects of weight loss and exercise. Too many people get down in the dumps and stressed over losing weight, regular exercise and eating healthy I'm guilty of this but I realised yesterday to actually commit to this I need to be fully into it and I need to stop associating it with negativity. So time to get positive!

The Best Quotes That Will Make You Feel More Positive

The Best Quotes That Will Make You Feel More Positive Banner
So my Harry Potter Inspirational Quotes List did so well I thought I'd do another list of quotes.

There are many reasons people feel the need to hear or read quotes; whether to get through the day, motivate themselves or even just because they enjoy them. I have always loved Pinterest for Quotes, well graphics of quotes, but the best quotes come from books, films and people. Positive quotes are the best and motivational quotes are what keep me going and reminds me of what I can achieve if I try. I've written down a few of my favourites. In fact, when I was going through my A-Levels, being told by teachers I wouldn't achieve and while doing my university essays etc these are a few of the best that got me through. They also reminded me, while battling my Mental Health issues, that life is precious and we only get one, so to make it the best I can.

Weightloss Wednesday || Eating Is My Terrible Nightmare

Weightloss Wednesday Series Banner

This week has been a week of reflection for me especially when it came to food and how I felt about myself and my body. I have struggled with my weight for years, of course, I know this and so does everyone else. I have discussed it multiple times on this blog but it has only been very recently that I realised I had such an unhealthy relationship with food and that the speed of which I have gained weight is much quicker than I ever thought it was. In fact, so much quicker I was sure I might have been pregnant, because of the rapid weight gain but alas, I wasn't. Due to my PCOS, It took me less than 3 months to gain just under 2 stone so around 13lbs, but it took me 5 months to lose just under 2 stone about 12lbs. How is that fair? All the hard work and healthy eating that goes into losing weight and it would still take less time to eat myself to death than to get to a 'healthy and lower BMI'. It is very hard to be encouraged to keep going with a diet when you know that your own body is against you and everything you do just feels essentially pointless.
